14th Hole – Par 5 – 521 yards (Ladies – Par 5 – 453 yards)
It’s time to open up the shoulders however the second of the two par 5s is still a ‘3 shotter’ for all but the longest hitters. The narrow fairway is difficult to hit from the tee due to its right to left slope and visiting the line of trees on the left will only leave a chip out recovery shot at best. The lay up second shot is all about the distance you want to leave to the two tier raised green which has a hidden, deep, wide ravine protecting it at the front as well as bunkers left and right. Players are very happy to leave here with a par but many chalk up an unwelcome 7, or more.
Pro’s Tip
Perfect risk/reward hole. Off the white tees play it as a 3 shotter. A draw from right side of fairway is perfect.
